Our
grand prizes are two limited edition, signed Atlantic
Puffin art prints by our featured 2008 seabird artist--
Karl Mårtens. These 13 x 20” prints are
valued at $199 each and will go to the person who
guesses closest to the total number of species
that we identify and to the person that guesses
the total number of puffins seen at all Project Puffin
islands on May 28th.

Puffin to help us close the budget gap we’re experiencing
during these tough economic times.
Project Puffin staff, researchers
and volunteers will devote May
28th to birdwatching on our research islands and across the
state
of Maine. We’ll compile the results and report back to
you the total
number of species and the total number of puffins that we see.
Guess our success!
Send us your best guess for each
total on the pledge form below. We’ll
reward the persons who correctly guess the number of species
we’ll see or the total number of puffins counted with
a signed, limited edition Atlantic Puffin or Razorbill lithograph
created by the 2008 Project

Submissions postmarked by May 28, 2010
will be eligible for the grand prizes! In the
event of a tie, the earliest postmark date will
be used to determine the winner. Also, if no one guesses correctly,
the person with the guess closest to the actual number will
win.
The person who correctly guesses the number
of species that we will see, and
the person who correctly guesses total number of puffins counted
at all sites will
receive a signed, limited edition Atlantic Puffin or Razorbill
lithograph by Karl Mårtens.
For both prizes, the earliest postmark date will determine the
winner in the
event of a tie. Your pledge or gift is tax-deductible. Help
us make a difference
for seabirds. Also, a gift is not required for you to enter
the contest, but we do
hope you’ll support our seabird program.
